Okay, so like the last post, I just wanted to say I'M SORRY for not updating much on this blog. I have another blog (psst, go check it out) called About Ballet and I've been working on that one for the past couple of weeks. So technically, I was still productive blog-wise, but I just didn't update this one. Forgive meee.
Anyway, even though it's a tad bit late (ahem, um, 19 days to be exact) I still really wanted to share with you what happened to me on New Years Eve with you all!
I went to this placed called Katana in West Hollywood with a group of my favorite people and had a blast. Entry fee including the dinner, music, etc. was $125/person so it was a wee bit pricey. I have never seen so many young people in all shapes and sizes dressed up and sex-ified in one area. Everyone was just so attractive to look at and they all knew how to flaunt their stuff! It was so crowded in there though and the music was pretty loud and lame (because they hired a DJ who wasn't really doing his job except for just switching around music...who then also started the countdown to New Years three minutes too early than the actual time).
Also, neither have I seen so many people get drunk and act stupid in my entire life. It weirded me out how many people were just...goners. I saw many girls wearing heels, stumbling and falling into a poor bush (the bush got annihilated by her butt while she giggled, "Oops, do I need to pay for this?" while other girls ran around, screaming and arguing with their boyfriends, even to the point where they were slapping, punching, and kicking their boyfriends on the arm, legs, and head. No joke.
...and now we know why getting drunk is not too favorable. :-) If you must get drunk, get drunk gracefully and elegantly and don't act like a douchebag. Period.
Here are some pics I took because I wanted to share my experience with you all:
The menu! How yummy does that all look? It took a LOOOONG time to have the waiters serve us though because it was just too crowded. Many people ended up complaining at the end of the night about the bad service overall but I can't blame them when there are so many people that you can barely walk a foot in front of you without someone else being jammed in your face as well. :-)
YUMMY!!!!! This is the first of many dishes that we had - it was probably my favorite. Unfortunately I couldn't take any more pictures of the food because the camera's battery ran out. :-(
And that pretty much sums up my New Years Eve! Was yours just as memorable? Let me know in the comments! :-)
